Application and development of graphene
Thermal conductivity modification of copper by graphene oxide
In addition to the preparation of graphene oxide by using conventional Hummers, functional graphene oxide such as carboxylated graphene oxide and benzenesulfonated graphene oxide can also be prepared by different additives. Different morphologies and properties can be used for different purposes.
Through the use of graphene to modify copper, reduce the density and enhance the thermal conductivity, thus improving the heat dissipation function of the space reactor heat pipe.
Graphene for heat conducting materials
Taking graphene as the main material, the film, block and sheet are prepared by chemical synthesis and modification;
The use of graphene powder to modify copper, aluminum and other metals has greatly increased its thermal conductivity.
Graphene has a preferred orientation in thermal conductivity, and the best thermal conductivity is perpendicular to the flat (pressure) direction.
Graphene modified composite ceramics
Using graphene powder to modify zirconia composite ceramics, insert graphene sheet into the grain boundary between zirconia particles, and realize the effect of strengthening and toughening by means of sheet pulling, crack deflection, crack bridging, etc. The results show that the bending strength and fracture toughness of the composites with graphene are 20% and 10% higher than those of pure zirconia. In addition, graphene has a preferred orientation in the composite, which is perpendicular to the pressure direction.
